Jio users very big day for you today..free offer may end

New Delhi: Jio users have got used to free services now. For them what Reliance has done a boon. But for Jio rivals, the free offer has been a bane. Both, Airtel and Vodafone, are on record saying that they have incurred huge losses because of Jio’s free offer.
Terming Jio offer as predatory, rival telecom operators had approached TRAI to stop Jio offer. But, TRAI found no violation of norms in Jio offer, so the rivals approached TDSAT. The matter is now being heard at TDSAT, andtodayit may decide whether Jio will have to wind up its offer or not. Hence, todayis important for all all Jio users.

At the previous hearing, telecom regulator TRAI gave a clean chit to the Mukesh Ambani-run firm’s free voice calling and data plan on its mobile services, saying the scheme is not a violation of the regulatory guidelines on promotional offers. In a letter to incumbent operators Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular, TRAI said Jio’s Happy New Year Offer has not been found to be violative of the principles of non-discrimination, inter-connect rule compliance and non-predation.
TRAI further said that its examination had revealed that the Happy New Year Offer launched by Reliance Jio on December 4, 2016 is distinct from its earlier Welcome Offer and cannot be treated as an extension of earlier promotional offer as the benefits under both sets of promotional offers differ.
The Happy New Year Offer, TRAI said, gives an opening and closing date within the prescribed limit of 90 days and the eligibility conditions. In the offer, there is a different data limit and provision for getting a higher speed after prescribed payment once the data limit is exhausted.
India’s largest mobile operator Bharti Airtel and its smaller rival Idea Cellular had moved telecom tribunal TDSAT against the regulator for allowing the Mukesh Ambani-led telecom venture to continue free promotional offer beyond the stipulated 90 days.
Following this, TRAI asked Attorney General for views on Jio’s free voice and data offering tillMarch 2017that rivals had termed "predatory".AG recently communicated to TRAI that Reliance Jio’s tariff plans do not violate any existing regulation or order issued by the regulator, and therefore it should not intervene in the matter.
Sources said during the hearing at TDSAT, TRAI counsel submitted that the regulator has already taken a decision on the issue, after which TDSAT directed TRAI to file its decision. The next date of hearing was then fixed on February 6.

Bathing Everyday Is Not Healthy, Says A Research

Bathing Everyday Is Not Healthy, Says A Research

A new research has said that daily bathing is harmful to your health as over-cleaning can damage the human microbiome – a collection of bacteria, viruses and other microbes that live in on your body as a result of the damage, your immune system, digestions and even your heart could suffer.
According to the Genetic Science Centre at the University of Utah, bathing or showering too often actually do more harm than good.
No need to feel bad, if you skip bathing
Most of us start our morning off with a bath or shower as not washing for a few days leave us feeling grimy and a bit smelly too but new research says there’s no need to feel bad if you skip it altogether. These are essential to our health and the university suggests that “disrupting our microbial ecostystems can cause disease.”
Westernisation affects the human microbiome diversity
The researchers conducted a study in the Yanomami village of Amazon and found that people living here had a far richer microbes community in their skin and “the highest diversity of bacteria and genetic functions ever reported in a human group.” They bacteria found carried antibiotic resistance, despite having no known contact with antibiotics. The research concluded that westernisation i.e. shampoo-scrubbed lifestyles significantly affects the human microbiome diversity. However, the study did not tell as how often we should actually be showering.
Some people have already given-up showering
There are some people, who have already given up showring. James Hamblin, senior editor of The Atlantic said “At first, I was an oily, smelly beast but it wasn’t long before his body started to adjust. After a while... your ecosystem reaches a steady state, and you stop smelling bad. I mean, you don't smell like rosewater or Axe Body Spray, but you don't smell like B.O., either. You just smell like a person.”
